Brief

Set within the Noosa hinterland, The Med is an expansive Mediterranean-inspired residence defined by warm materiality, sculptural curves and a strong connection to its natural surroundings. Gull Design was engaged to manufacture and install the custom joinery throughout almost the entire home, bringing each carefully considered detail to life.

Polytec Ecru Oak Woodmatt forms the foundation of the joinery palette, creating a sense of warmth and cohesion across the kitchen, master suite, laundry, rumpus room and outdoor entertaining area. Curved profiles, integrated lighting, concealed storage and custom detailing soften the scale of the home while balancing functionality with a refined, contemporary finish.

The result is a cohesive collection of bespoke joinery that complements the home’s Mediterranean character and architectural form. Every element was crafted through Gull Design’s Noosa factory and installed with precision, creating spaces that feel warm, considered and effortlessly connected.
