FLATPACK DELIVERY OPTIONS.

OPTION 1: Personalised Delivery by Gull Design

Gull Design offers a personalised delivery service for your Flatpack order, tailored to your location and specific needs.

Delivery costs are calculated based on the following factors:

  1. Distance from our Noosaville factory to your delivery address

  2. Time required to load your order at the factory and unload it at your location

  3. Level of assistance at your end—whether you'll help unload, or if two Gull Design team members are needed to complete the delivery

  • Unless otherwise requested, one Gull Design team member will deliver your order. It is expected that at least one able-bodied person will be present at the delivery address to assist with unloading.

    If no one will be available to assist, Gull Design can provide a second delivery staff member at an additional cost. This must be arranged prior to your delivery being scheduled, as late requests may delay your delivery.

    If no assistance is available at the time of delivery and we were not advised in advance, we will need to reschedule or arrange for an additional team member. In this case, extra charges will apply.

  • Items will be individually stacked in our van and protected using our reusable packing materials during transit.

    Upon arrival:

    • Items will be unwrapped, unloaded, and stacked individually at your delivery location

    • Packing materials will be retained by Gull Design

    • If you require your items to remain wrapped, please supply your own packing materials

    • Please note: Items are not boxed or individually wrapped

  • Our standard delivery includes unloading to a ground floor location, no more than 25 metres from the nearest point where we can safely and legally park our vehicle.

    If you require delivery to:

    • Another floor level

    • A location beyond the 25-metre limit

    … please let us know in advance. We’ll be happy to provide a custom quote based on your specific access requirements.

  • You will be provided with an estimated delivery window, and we will call you 30 minutes prior to arrival using the phone number provided at the time of your order.

    Please ensure that someone is present at the delivery address and ready to receive the delivery at the scheduled time.

    If our delivery driver is required to wait longer than 15 minutes before unloading can begin, additional charges may apply.

OPTION 2: Courier Delivery in Custom Timber Boxes

Your Flatpack order can be packaged into one or more custom-made timber boxes and sent via courier either to the courier’s nearest depot or directly to your delivery address.

Each box is custom-built at our factory and varies in size depending on the quantity and dimensions of the panels you have ordered. These boxes can be quite large and typically require a forklift or trolley lift for handling.

Because the size and weight of the boxes are not known until we receive your order, we will obtain a custom freight quote from our courier provider for each individual delivery.

In addition to the courier fee, there is a charge for the custom timber boxes, approximately $200 for the first box and $150 for each additional box as needed.

  • You can choose between two delivery methods:

    1. Collect from Courier Depot: Pick up your order from the courier’s closest depot to your address. This is the more cost-effective option.

    2. Direct Delivery to Your Address: Have the courier deliver the order directly to your location. This option often requires a truck equipped with a forklift or pallet jack and is usually more expensive.

    If you would like a quote for courier delivery, please contact us. Please note that courier delivery is generally more expensive than our Gull Design delivery service, largely due to the cost of constructing the custom timber boxes.
